Ethan + Bianca in our Gisele 3.0 gown

A timeless California wedding, featuring our Gisele 3.0 gown.

How did you decide on your GLL gown and accessories?

I knew from the start that I wanted a GLL gown, I didn’t try on any other brand! I was so excited that the Abbot Kinney showroom opened up right when we got engaged. I went there and tried on a bunch of dresses, and surprisingly, liked all of them! It was a tough decision, but I finally went with the Gisele 3.0. I loved how it was form fitting, but still very comfortable. A perfect mix of sexy and elegant.

Describe your look in three words…

Natural, fun, classy

How did he propose?

We were on a month long trip traveling around Europe. Ethan proposed at our amazing Airbnb in Madrid after a beautiful train ride from Barcelona. Afterwards, we took a long walk through Buen Retiro Park and it was so romantic. Then we FaceTimed all our family to tell them the news!

What was your goal for your wedding / what was the most important aspect to you?

My goal for the wedding was to have as much fun as possible with Ethan and with all of our guests. It was really important to me that everyone felt welcome and comfortable to have a great time!

The funniest moments on the day were…

We had one of our best friend’s officiate the wedding, so we helped write a lot of the ceremony. At the end of the ceremony, when we were saying our “I Do’s,” we completely messed up the format, started laughing, and said, “Sorry, this is our first time!” It was really funny, but also played into the theme of having fun and being comfortable. Also, dance battles at the reception.

What was the most stressful part to planning?

Trying to choose and navigate all the different options of things you can have at a wedding. There are so many little details to a wedding that you never think about! But for the most part, I tried not to get stressed and just enjoy the process.

Any top beauty/health/fitness or wedding preparation advice that you can share…

I really wanted my hair and makeup to be simple and natural, which meant my hair and skin had to look good naturally before getting hair and makeup done. For my skin I started getting facials a few months before the wedding with Olivia Marsico, using products that added a lot of moisture to my dry skin. This laid a really good foundation for my makeup to look more natural as well. For my hair, I went to Graze Zip, who coloured my hair to become a more natural looking blonde, without being damaged in the process.

A GLL woman is to you…

A woman with style and grace, who isn’t afraid to be herself and have fun!

Any last advice or words of wisdom that you can share…

Don’t worry about the little details of the wedding, just try and stay in the moment and have fun!
