Jason + Jasmine in the Inca

An elegant and intimate beach, featuring our iconic Inca gown.

How did you decide on your GLL gown and accessories?

I follow GLL on Instagram and always admired the dresses. I saw that they opened a store in my hometown. The first time I saw the INCA gown I fell in the love with it. The moment I tried the dress on, I was sold. The gown is absolutely gorgeous; I am still getting compliments on the dress!

Describe your look in three words…

Elegant, beachy, and bohemian.

How did he propose?

After a trip to the Observatory in Los Angeles, we got home and he proposed to me in bed where he first told me he loved me.

What was your goal for your wedding / what was the most important aspect to you?

My husband and I wanted the wedding to represent us. So we did added a little DIY elements to our wedding, to give it more of a personal touch We both have love for the beach and ocean. So it was important that the location represent that. Over all, we just wanted our friends and family to feel the love and warmth on that day that we have for each other.

The funniest moments on the day were…

I think the funniest moment was forgetting our marriage license. Oops. Unfortunately, we did forget our marriage license and had to get married again a few days later. We laughed it off, and continued to enjoy our big day. It made for a great story, that we’ll one day be able to share with our children.

What was the most stressful part to planning?

The most stressful part of planning was doing it all by ourselves in two months. It can be a bit stressful at times. We had a coordinator for the day of which was a lot of help. But I would recommend a wedding planner to anyone!

Any top beauty/health/fitness or wedding preparation advice that you can share…

I live a pretty healthy lifestyle, but getting a good nights sleep and staying hydrated was key for me on the big day.

A GLL woman is to you…

Someone who isn’t afraid to be her true authentic self. Who loves hard and deep. Who is brave. Who dreams for bigger things. Who has a kind heart, and simply someone who is a rare breed.

Any last advice or words of wisdom that you can share…

Enjoy the process of planning, it’s your special day and goes by so quickly. Be in the moment. One thing my day of wedding coordinator made my husband and I promise her, is that we would eat something on the day of our wedding. I thought that was a given, but you don’t realize how caught up you get on being a great host/ hostess to all your guests. You need fuel to keep the party going.
