How did you decide on your GLL gown and accessories?

I had my eye on your original Hollie gown when you released the collection with the Inca gown and it was love at first sight!

Describe your look in three words…

Feminine, daring and free!

 How did he propose?

We were driving along in Tuscany and spotted a castle ruin at the top of a nearby hill so Kim asked me to find somewhere to park and we walked up to it. We were standing in the ruin looking at the beautiful view when kim dropped down on one knee.

What was your goal for your wedding / what was the most important aspect to you?

I wanted two things: for it to look beautiful and for all the guests to have a lot of fun.

The funniest moments on the day were…

The DJ was supposed to stop at midnight. But my bridesmaids had other ideas…they took him to the bar and got him so drunk he stayed and played music until 4am in the morning. My memories of this are a bit hazy but I remember people of all ages were dancing around wearing hats from the photo booth and drinking spirits straight from the bottle.

What was the most stressful part to planning?

It was a dry hire wedding so I was coordinating the 17 suppliers and having to do that and think/plan/organise all the other details. Luckily I’m a very practical person and I’d helped a friend with a similar style wedding last year so I learnt a few lessons from that.

Any top beauty/health/fitness or wedding preparation advice that you can share…

I joined the gym 6 months before and started spin and yoga classes and not only did I feel so much better about my body but I know it helped me with my stress levels leading up to the wedding.

A GLL woman is to you…

Bohemian, feminine and wild at heart. She’s not afraid to be different.

Any last advice or words of wisdom that you can share…

We invited everyone to the day. It meant that we got to spend time with everyone throughout the day and then when it came to the evening we didn’t have any extra people to greet. We also had ‘first look’ photos and then all the family and bridal party pictures before the ceremony. It chilled my anxious groom out and then after the ceremony we didn’t have to go off for photos and leave our guests! I didn’t want to miss any part of the day I’d spent months planning.
