Highschool Sweethearts
Tyler and Nakiyha met at a small high school in Springfield, Illinois, where they quickly developed a deep and lasting romance. From the moment they met, Nakiyha was captivated by Tyler’s warmth and kindness—qualities that were evident from the beginning. As the couple spent more time together, she realized how protected, adored, and valued he made her feel. “He truly is the man of my dreams and exactly what God knew I needed in a man,” the bride shares. Their journey together has been a joyful adventure, and Nakiyha is incredibly thankful to have someone who makes her feel so loved and understood.Â
Tyler organized the perfect proposal at one of Nakiyha’s favorite cabins in the woods of Shawnee, Illinois. Knowing her love for nature, he planned a romantic hike through the picturesque trails. As the sun began to set, Tyler led Nakiyha to the highest point, where the sky was painted in hues of pink and gold. At that moment, he got down on one knee and asked her to be his forever. When they returned to the cabin, Tyler had organized to have both their families waiting to celebrate their engagement, the perfect final surprise to round out the special day.

A Moment for Zsa Zsa
Nakiyha had dreamt of wearing a Grace Loves Lace gown since her teenage years, and she found it to be everything she had hoped for, noting, “The dress is worth all the hype.” For her reception, the bride envisioned a wedding dress that was both comfortable and sexy. "I wanted something radiant, and the fabric of the Zsa Zsa dress did just that and more," she describes. Nakiyha chose to keep her styling simple, opting for a pearl necklace and a Sampaguita jasmine hairpin—the national flower of the Philippines.
