Each metre of fabric used in the Amitié collection has been crafted from 7.6 recycled plastic bottles and is a conscious choice for our planet. Our packaging is also made from 100% recycled materials. We donate the offcuts of our occasionwear and bridal gowns to furniture manufacturers which is then recycled into furniture stuffing.

I don't live near a showroom but want a GRACE gown, what are my options?
We have many brides who confidently order their gowns with the assistance of our Online Stylists. Reach out to them to arrange a virtual appointment or to chat with them directly. Our production process makes gowns to a size range which is a safe way to ensure your gown will fit, even if your body fluctuates.
Can I customise the design of my dress?
Every Grace Loves Lace dress undergoes intensive design processes to ensure the fit, feel and balance of each dress is absolutely perfect. Therefore, we do not offer customisations, unless stated.
What if I lose/gain weight?
We go to every effort to ensure your dress is the right fit. If you place your order well in advance of your wedding date, then we can confirm your size right before your dress goes into production. The fabrics we use is designed to stretch, so often if you drop a size in weight, it will still fit beautifully. However, it is also very easy to have the dress altered by a professional seamstress if you would like it to be a little more fitted.
Is the pricing between Made to Order Standard, Made to Order Customised & Ready to Wear the same?
Prices vary between Customised, Standard and Ready to Wear styles. Made to Order Customised incurs an additional fee due to the customised nature of the gown and Ready to Wear gowns are priced higher than Standard gowns as they're available for immediate shipment. What undergarments should I wear on my wedding day?
We recommend wearing seamless underwear that matches your skin tone. If you need help to determine which bra style/shapewear you'd like to wear our Online Stylists would love to help you.
Where are GRACE gowns made?
Our beautiful wedding dresses are originally designed and developed in our Australian studio. Our gowns are produced in both Australia and neighbouring countries, with facilities that each meet our strict certification guidelines. Do I need to pay import duties and taxes?
Import duties and taxes may be applicable in your country. We always recommend to all of our international brides to check with their import/customs department for an estimate cost, so you are aware of any charges that you may be required to pay.

- Made to Order Standard gowns are handmade to a standard dress size and 155cm shoulder to floor height.
- Made to Order is available if your wedding is over 5 months away.
- Our gowns are designed with little complications for alterations if necessary and our hems can be easily adjusted by your trusted seamstress at your expense.
Made to Order Customised
GENERAL
- Made to Order Customised and Priority Made to Order Customised wedding dresses are handmade to your size range and shoulder to floor height.
- To determine your size range, we take your bust, under bust, waist and hip measurements and compare these against our Size Range Chart below, to make your gown.
- You will need to provide your measurements 6 months before your wedding date, if your wedding is less than 6 months away, some styles can be made as Priority Made to Order Customised for an additional fee of $400USD.
Ready to Wear
GENERAL
- Ready to Wear gowns are handmade to a standard dress size and 155cm shoulder to floor height.
- Ready to Wear gowns are priced higher than Standard gowns as they're available for immediate shipment.
WHAT IS A SIZE RANGE?
- A size range is a 5cm range that your measurements fall within and are taken at four to seven different areas of the body to determine the best fit for your shape.
- For example — a bride may measure an XL bust, L under bust, XL waist and M hip, and we make your gown to the correct size range in each area.
- The reason this process works is because our fabrics are very forgiving due to the stretch or bias elements in the design.

Dispatch Timeframes
- Made to Order Standard and Made to Order Customised gowns will be dispatched approximately 6-8 weeks before your wedding date.
- Priority Made to Order Customised gowns will be dispatched approximately 2-4 weeks before your wedding date.
- Ready to Wear gowns will be dispatched approximately 3-5 working days after order is placed.
- Occasionwear, shoes, accessories & jewellery will be dispatched approximately 3-5 working days after order is placed, unless ordered at the same time as a Made to Order gown.
- AU: Your gown will be sent via Australia Standard Post, DHL or TNT which takes between 1- 4 business days to arrive and 3 -7 business days for Western Australia. Our Dispatch team will send you tracking information so you can track your package.
- US/CA/UK/EU/NZ: All international orders are sent via UPS, DHL, or FedEx which takes between 3-14 business days to arrive, depending on location. Our Dispatch team will send you tracking information so you can track your package.

Priority Made to Order Customised
- If your wedding is between 10 weeks and 6 months away, certain styles can be fast-tracked through production for an additional priority fee of $500AUD incl GST.
- Your measurements must be provided at the time of purchase to ensure we meet the delivery deadline.
- Your gown will be dispatched approximately 2-4 weeks before your wedding date.
Ready to Wear
- If your wedding date is less than 10 weeks away you must purchase a Ready to Wear gown.
- Ready to Wear gowns are in stock and ready for immediate delivery, unless otherwise stated.
- A Ready to Wear gown will be dispatched approximately 3-5 working days after order is placed.
Occasionwear & Accessories
- All other items outside of wedding gowns are shipped approximately 3-5 working days after order is placed.
- To stay true to our commitment to sustainability, we don’t sit on large volumes of stock to ensure unnecessary wastage. Stock levels vary and may have a waitlist available if style is currently not in stock.
