Welcome to the Diary of a Founder! After receiving a lot of feedback asking what my typical day looks like and my role at the company, I’ve decided to share a glimpse into my thoughts, inspirations, and creative insights.
A common misconception is that now GLL is 14 years old, I am less involved or have more time to put my feet up and relax. But the reality is, 14 years later, I am still involved in everything, and my schedule is only getting busier. The job of a Founder and Creative Director doesn’t stop, and I love it that way!

Inspired by my own wedding, I began Grace by challenging an outdated bridal industry to offer uniqueness and comfort. My vision was to create gowns that make women feel confident and empowered. What started as an e-commerce brand with our head office and production facility in Burleigh Heads, Australia, has grown into the brand it is today, dressing brides in 26 boutiques around the world.
For me, authenticity and a deep sense of emotion and substance have always been at the heart of our brand and designs. I’m heavily inspired by travel, art, music, architecture, and photography. Being in my favourite cities, being in new environments, and being around other creatives truly fuels my passion. I think that today’s fast-paced world can easily overstimulate a creative mind. That’s why it’s important to know who your brand is, pinpoint what feels authentic to you, and know how to draw on that.
