Taylor & Elle in the Noah Gown
Elle and Taylor got married in the Dominican Republic at a resort in Punta Cana called Sanctuary Cap Cana. Their special day took place on a private island overlooking the ocean, right outside of a castle. The style was boho/beach vibes. A lot of natural shells, pampas grass, orchids, and the castle where it took place made everyone feel like they were in Europe!
What is a Grace woman to you?
A Grace woman is authentic and intentionally herself.
Which Grace dress did you wear and how did you know it was 'The One'?
The Noah gown. I had about twelve dresses picked out that I wanted to try - It was only the second Grace dress that I tried on and I knew I didn’t want to try anything else on after. The lace details, the delicate design on the hips and back, it was so angelic.
Tell us about your experience when you found your dress.
Did you buy your wedding dress online or visit one of our Boutiques?
Atlanta boutique! I had already had a stressful day of trying to find the dress, but when I stepped into the shop, I immediately felt at peace and knew I was going to find my dress there. It was also so comfortable, I knew that I would be able to wear it all day/night. It also fit the boho/beach vibe that was the vision of our wedding.
What was your first date?
We went to get frozen yogurt!
Did you DIY anything?
Did you DIY anything?
My mom made all of my decor. She made the beautiful boho fans for the back of the chairs at our ceremony out of dried palm, pampas’s grass, ribbon, and other natural elements. She also made ribbons that all the guests waved as we walked down the aisle after we were married. She also made our guest book and pen, all the decor on the tables and “remade” Taylor’s boutonnière for our ceremony after his orchid died before hand.

The funniest moment on the day or something that surprised you?
We had to start our wedding ceremony late because every single one of our 39 guests were late to our wedding ceremony. They were having too much fun at the all-inclusive cocktail bar on the roof above where we were about to get married.
I heard our ceremony music playing and I looked outside and didn’t see anyone sitting down (except for Taylor’s mom and dad) haha!
Any last advice or words of wisdom that you can share?
Plan your day and pick your dress based on what makes YOU happy! You make so many decisions about your day and there are typically people involved that are giving their opinions. Stay true to what you want and don’t waiver! Also, do a destination wedding. Best decision we could have made - a week celebrating with your favorite people is better than just one day.
