How did you meet / How did it all begin?

We met through working together in real estate, it took a while before we made things official but the rest is history.

Tell us a little bit about your engagement story?

My daughter was 5 months old and we travelled south from our home town of Byron Bay to Yamba. A small coastal town, we walked out to ‘Lovers Rock’ to pop some champagne to celebrate our beautiful daughter and before I know it he was down on one knee.

What first attracted you to your partner?

It actually was love at first sight, there was such a strong connection both emotionally and physically.

Flowers (style / company name):

Alstonville Florist.

Who was your photographer & Videographer:

My amazing team was a combined act, Wilde Visual located at Burleigh.

Hairstyle and company:

I wanted a hairstyle that was flowy & loose but an up style, having long straight hair I didn’t want it down. I used Jacinta who is a friend of mine from the Northern Rivers and her business is The Wholesome Hair. It was exactly what I wanted.

Make-up style and company:

Kate Price was my make up artist, she is amazing. Located at Cleveland and I actually found her on Instagram.

Event Styling:

I planned everything myself, it was a garden wedding. I wanted the colours; white, green, natural wood. I hired Golden Cane palms to create lush gardens, a white stretch tent, bulb lighting, dark timber tables with scalloped white table wear. Very simple, but made such a statement.

Where did you get inspiration from for your wedding?

I just thought about what I wanted and created something simple, weddings are expensive but I think I created something magical.

What was your wedding song / playlist:

My song when I walked down the aisle was Kiss me, by Ed Sheeran. Our first dance song, was Meet me at the Altar by Jagged Edge. We wanted something fun to start the night off.

Honeymoon details:

We are off to Fiji at the end of this month, I have had family over from the UK and decided to spend more time with them before heading off. We have two children and they will be very much part of our Honeymoon and we have heard great things about Fiji with families. Plus my husband is a fanatic surfer so any location must have waves.

What was your most memorable moment?

I cannot say a most memorable moment, walking out in front of all my friends and family or possibly when I was lifted up on the dance floor for a crowd surf! Or seeing the short clip that Wilde Visual has created for me, it shows so many memories!

What is your tip of advice for future brides?

Enjoy it! I enjoyed planning my wedding, I didn’t ever stress about it. I had obstacles that came along the way but I dealt with them calmly and kept telling myself that things may not go as smoothly as planned but that’s ok! In the end, it’s a celebration of love and the people you choose to have at your wedding are there for you, not for the finer details.

How would you describe Grace Loves Lace in a sentence?

From the moment I walked in the beautiful showroom at Burleigh to when my dress was delivered to me, Grace Loves Lace gave me such friendly impeccable service, there was nothing they could of done more.

How did you find Grace Loves Lace?

Social Media and friends, I am sure that most females out there in NSW/QLD know about Grace Loves Lace.

How did you choose your GLL dress?

I tried on almost most of the dresses and shortlisted it to two dresses. I made another appointment to try them on and I knew instantly that the Inca dress was exactly what I wanted.

What jewelry and accessories did you wear?

Bryce surprised me with diamond earrings on the day of our wedding, I chose to wear nothing else, the dress in itself makes a statement.

What did your partner wear?

Bryce wore black pants, brown shoes, white shirt and a black tie. All from Myer.
